Buggy tour in Lanzarote
Enjoy an unforgettable experience on our buggy tour in Lanzarote and discover some of the most spectacular sites on the island.
Choose between the 2 and 3-hour tours. In both cases the route is 70% off-road so you can enjoy driving on dirt and stone roads while releasing some adrenaline.
The buggies are 2-seater and 4-seater, automatic and very easy to drive. To drive the buggy, remember that drivers must wear closed shoes and bring a valid original driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of experience. If there’s two people in the same buggy, you can take turns driving at the stops.
The 2-hour buggy safari tour usually leaves from Costa Teguise towards Guatiza, Mala, Las Nieves, Teseguite and El Mojón. The 3-hour tour also includes Los Cocoteros and Charco del Palo. You can get an idea of the tour route on this map which goes through the northern center of the island. Keep in mind that the route is not exact since google maps doesn’t show dirt roads.
Come alone or with your partner, family or friends. Remember that your companion must be at least 8 years old and 135 cm tall.
We’ll make several stops along the route to see some interesting sites. The most outstanding will be the Risco de Famara Viewpoint, which is almost 500 meters above sea level, from where you can see Famara Beach, the most beautiful, largest and spectacular one in Lanzarote.
From the Risco Viewpoint you’ll also be able to see the Chinino archipelago, made up of the La Graciosa, Roque del Este, Roque del Oeste and Alegranza islets.
We’ll pick you up in the Playa Blanca, Puerto Calero, Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise areas. Once the reservation is made, we’ll indicate the pick-up time at your accommodation, which will be between 30 and 45 minutes before the tour. If you decide to come on your own, you must be at the buggy facilities located on Callela Goleta in Costa Teguise 20 minutes before departure.
The tours are carried out in small 5 or 6-buggy groups, so we recommend booking as far in advance as possible to guarantee a spot. If you’re in a group and want a private outing, email us to get some information on the different group options.
